Lizzie Dyson and Georgie Bottomley, both UX (User Experience) professionals, noticed that there was a real lack of women within the UX industry.
They set up Ladies that UX in August 2013 in Manchester, UK. The group concept quickly took off and there are now over 40 independent groups in 20 countries across the globe.
With such rapid growth, they approached me for a logo that would reflect the group’s nature, and would allow for each city to customise the logo for themselves. I created a logo system and brand style to ensure that each city could have their own personality by using landmarks or group generated images. The brand ‘filter’ could then be applied to ensure consistency.
Project deliverables: Branding, stationery, imagery, print collateral and presentations.
